In last week’s post, I provided a few links to resources on blogging with WordPress. This week, I want to make you aware of more opportunities—an upcoming blogging webinar and some blogging tutorials, all FREE.
- Terry Whalin’s free teleseminar and e-book: On August, 7, 2012, Terry Whalin, author and editor with Morgan James, will host a free teleseminar on building your platform and making money with your blog. I’m interested in this one because I’d like for my blog to pay for itself somehow. So far, that has not happened. Go to askterrywhalin.com, enter a question, give your e-mail, click on “here’s my question,” and you’re registered. You’ll also get Terry’s free e-book, Bloggers Guide to Profits free with your registration. Register now. You don’t want to miss it.
- Copyblogger’s free tutorial: In a recent blog post, Copyblogger gave instructions on how to set up a self-hosted WordPress blog. Check it out here. At the end of the post, he gives a link to their free Site Setup Kit. Direct link here.
- Problogger’s page on making money blogging: Link to it here. This is not a tutorial and does not offer a download, but it does contain a model for “monetizing” your blog. Be sure to check on the bottom of the page where there are number of links to further information. All the information is free.
